Society is ruining everything.

Sorry to start off with a downer, but seriously... things are going to hell in a handbasket lately. It seems like nothing is sacred anymore, and the places we used to go to escape the noise are the latest victims being poisoned by the issues of today. Sport is a place that should be good, clean fun... but what I saw the other day tells me we're teetering on a very dangerous ledge.

Bad attitudes are viral.

All it takes is one bad apple to spoil the bunch - that's the old saying, right? Some days it seems truer than others. This past weekend FitWife Megan and I worked a half marathon and saw someone have a fit about something. Seeing that, and thinking about the deeper meaning and motivation behind it... made me think about things. Made me think about sport, and the innocence and purity it SHOULD have. About how it needs to remain the sacred place it is. So on this FIRST installment of The FitBite... we dive in and tackle it head on.
